As a Hardscape Material Landscape Supplier Yard Worker & Customer Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations. This position involves a balance of physical work in the yard, handling hardscape materials, and providing top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be committed to providing helpful, knowledgeable service to our customers.

Great Lakes Landscape Supply is a rapidly growing company based out of Cedar Springs Michigan. We specialize in wholesale sales to the landscape trade. We sell trees, shrubs, perennials, natural stone, concrete products, and more. We have 50+ acres of ready-to-sell plant material ranging from 3’ shrubs to 5” caliper trees. Core focus: Provide great products and service while building strong relationships with customers,
vendors, and employees.
Essential Functions
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing hardscape materials
- such as pavers, stone, and other landscaping products.
- • Load and unload hardscape materials from supply trucks and assist
- customers with loading their purchases.
- • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the yard and storage
- areas.
- • Perform inventory checks and help manage stock levels.
- • Provide information and advice to customers regarding the use
- and installation of products
- • Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments.
- • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and
- professionally.
- • Collaborate with team members to improve customer service
- procedures and standards.
- • Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely
Necessary Job Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various
- weather conditions.
- • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.
- • Knowledge of hardscape materials and landscaping products is a plus.
- • Forklift operation experience or willingness to learn
